[Abstract]
To support the rapid R&D investment decision making process, we must achieve visibility on R&D, from the ion of the R&D project to evaluation after the completion of development, including the expectation level on the financial perspective of technology and evaluation of the result post to the implied concepts.
This research was conducted to find an indicator that could accurately measure the financial affect of R&D, and has focused mainly on measuring the financial value of the portfolio which is the most important product of the intellectual property of the R&D project.
We measured the value of the patent through automatic patent value evaluation system, which is based on the combined bibliographic information and financial information of the company, allowing subjective factors to be excluded and base the result only on the objective factors.
Based on these values we suggest IP portfolio¡¯s econometric formula which is used to formulate R&D efficiency measuring model that implied financial value of portfolio of intellectual property.
Among the R&D project the right financial evaluation for the intellectual property portfolio in the modern time of finance is an essential factor for R&D decision making and to activate the company¡¯s profitable activity to the item of the blue ocean.
Through this research result we expect the financial investment decision making process could expedite among the R&D project of the national companies.

[Abstract]
The purpose of this paper is to describe and examine the effects of network diversity on opportunity-recognition beliefs. In particular, it is intended to verify whether knowledge acquisition mediates the relationship between network diversity and opportunity-recognition beliefs, and whether entrepreneurial orientation moderates the relationship between network diversity and knowledge acquisition. In addition, we propose that entrepreneurial orientation which is including risk taking, proactiveness, and innovativeness, will have a positive effect to entrepreneur's opportunity-recognition beliefs. Using survey data from 79 startup CEOs less than five years in Korea, hierarchical regression analysis and bootstrapping have been used to investigate mediation and moderation effect. The present findings suggest that (a) network diversity is positively related to knowledge acquisition and opportunity-recognition beliefs, respectively, and that (b) knowledge acquisition has positive connection with opportunity-recognition beliefs. Also, (c) it is found that there is a mediation effect of knowledge acquisition in the relationship between network diversity and opportunity-recognition beliefs. However, the moderation effect of entrepreneurial orientation is not effective. Finally, empirical evidence suggest that entrepreneurial orientation positively affect opportunity-recognition beliefs. Based on the results, implications of these findings, limitations and the directions for future research are discussed.

[Abstract]
In order to establish the entrepreneurial talent, building recognition of the start-up should be preceded as a career although much support and infrastructure are activated. Therefore, we looked at the impact on the entrepreneurial intention by using the personality traits and the self-leadership for recognizing entrepreneurship as a career in life cycle.
Aimed at 199 college students of S University, Big 5 personality traits and self-leadership influence on entrepreneurial intention by mediating the entrepreneurial self-efficacy was analysed. The first analysis, the factors that influence the entrepreneurship intention in the positive(+) are the Openness and Agreeableness in personality, the natural reward strategies and constructive thinking strategies in self-leadership factors. Second, the factor on the positive effect on entrepreneurial self-efficacy is the openness of personality traits, and all three sub-factors of self-leadership. Third, by mediating the entrepreneurial self-efficacy, factors that affect the entrepreneurship intention are the openness in personality traits and natural reward strategies, constructive thinking strategies in the self-leadership.
The results of academic and practical implications are that stable personality traits and self-leadership strategies can substantially increase the entrepreneurial intention by this interaction as experience of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship programs affect the self-confidence to succeed. Especially it can be seen that the fact that the Openness and Agreeableness rather than Conscientiousness needed to achieve the goals affect the entrepreneurial intention is the result of fact that the students have access with a new trial or curiosity rather than with fear of change in the approach to the start-up behavior. Also, personality traits and self-leadership strategy help the youth to have a positive entrepreneurship awareness, which can increase effectiveness of entrepreneurship education program and policy support. Therefore, it suggest that a psychological approach is needed in the ion and evaluation. Thus the experience of a start-up training and entrepreneurship programs interact with personality traits and cognitive strategies to their successful entrepreneurial self-confidence, that can further increase the entrepreneurial intention by affecting the entrepreneurial self-efficacy.
Therefore, deriving support measures to increase entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education effectiveness about program development is required. So, young people who have potential success preferentially are evaluated and ed in the start-up support and training. It improves the performance of the founders and contributes to create new jobs in the policy of support development.
Finally, In future studies it is required to examine the conceptual relationship between personality traits and self-leadership in depth, whether appropriate educational intervention as acting strategies and personality traits can affect a change in perception and attitudes about start-up by since early years childhood.
Systematic Contradiction Solving for Innovative New Product Development
  • - Jung Suk Hyun (Management Information Systems)
[Abstract]
In the new product development, many creative and innovative cases have in common that they solved contradictions. The typical example can be found in James Watt¡¯s Steam Engine and Simens¡¯ continuous tank furnace. Watt solved the contradiction such that the cylinder of the Newcomen engine should be hot and cold at the same time. Siemens solve the contradiction by separating the chamber of a furnace in order to turn up the heat of glass liquid and to turn down the heat of it at the same time. Most western scholars, who have strong logical thinking ability, regarded contradictions as wrong things and an empty set having no possibility. Due to this tradition, most research works had paid no attention to contradiction solving. The existing methods such as brainstorming for inventing new product ideas had limitations to solve contradictions and to take a long time to solve them because they did not determine the direction of the problem solving. The 70 ~ 80% of production cost are determined during the process of the product development. However, the effort for cost reduction in most companies focused on manufacturing and sales. Even though in the earlier state of the concept design of a new product, more innovative ideas can be generated and the ripple effect on the productivity and the quality can be bigger, the methodologies for problem solving that can be applied in the early state have rarely been proposed. This research proposed a new systematic contradiction resolution method for developing innovative new products.
Pension and Insurance of Korean Household
[Abstract]
Many households have Social Security payments as their sole source of income. Since the amounts of payments will depend on the characteristics of household, we estimate panel regression using NASTAB(National Survey of Tax and Benefit) by KIPF.
We found significant relationship between job type, job status, etc. and the amount of government subsidy through cros—section fixed effects model.
