[Abstract]
This research identifies affecting factors of relationship commitment and relations to the financial performance in the international SCM. For the theoretical basis of research model, this research adapted RBV, TCE and social exchange theory. In this study, resource based determinants (firm size, brand value, technological capability and fame) and transaction cost determinants (environmental uncertainty, industry and psychic distance) are considered as the significant factors to affect relationship commitment in the international SCM. In addition, the relations between relationship commitment and financial performance is analyzed and adopts the social exchange variables (shared value, communication and interdependence) as the moderating factors between relationship commitment and performance to specify the situational condition. For the empirical test, 455 samples of korean exporting manufacturing companies are used. To analyse the samples with 2 groups, this research divides the samples based on the firm size.

For the efficient operation of companies, the basic DEA models (CRS) is used to analyze the efficiency among them as well as to propose the best way to the improved direction of input-output.
A Study on Defining Entrepreneurship by Way of Evolutionary Genetic Aspects and Analysis Method of Key Factors to Venture Survival
[Abstract]
The importance of entrepreneurship has been embossed within global financial crisis, and the entrepreneurship has been regarded as a critical factor for firms to survive and grow. But one of the biggest problems is that entrepreneurship has various definitions by researcher, while there is no differentiated and structured theory covering the whole entrepreneurship which has been changed frequently. This study proposes a theoretical definition of entrepreneurship by way of its evolutionary genetic aspects to overcome limitations and complexities in the existing definitions. This research newly defines entrepreneurship as the ¡°initiator¡± of controlling the firm's ¡°DNA¡± to optimize the reaction against environmental change, considering internal and external factors. For the validity of the new definition, mathematically modeling methods and literature reviews have been implemented. The studies lead to a provisional theory which can be applicable to not only firms but also all organic individuals suffering creation, evolution, and destruction. The new definition possibly offers insights to researchers as a general definition of entrepreneurship transcending time and region. This research finds similarities and differences between success and failure venture firms, through comparative analysis of changing pattern on firms¡¯ entrepreneurship and DNA. This study proposes a new paradigm that the evolution of firms can be achieved by developing entrepreneurship and changing internal factors of them. The innovative algorithm from the result of this research possibly provides firms with timely solutions and decision indices which enable the firms to enhance their capabilities.
